Online Shopping "Are dropshippers making it too complicated?"

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 30, 2009 – What has happened to online shopping. In recent years it has become apparent to most of us that thier format is far too intense. With the overwhelming abundance of choice, people often leave without purchasing any product.  What i have found through my experience, is that there is too much choice, because companies are cutting corners with dropshippers.

Drop shippers are companies mainly in Asia that you can buy various products, they warehouse it, post it etc etc, therefore saving the online shopper site lots of money. The problem with this method is that the products are cheap, unbranded, & of inferior quality. Not to mention the lack of ANY after sales service.

As with most retail businesses, customer service is a joke. Passing the buck because 1: they don't know how to solve the issue, 2: they can't be bothered (Not in my job description) or 3: sometimes a bit of both. Companies that use dropshippers as thier cheaper method of purchasing, have this problem as well. Other factors also come into play with "thier" so called customer service, the language barriers, time differences & the passing the buck syndrome.

This makes me think, well what about quality branded products. Why are they so hard to find let alone purchase? Once again dropshippers are the main reason here.

What we need is, to change direction with online shopping. More sites that offer quality products, at affordable prices with ease of checkout & lower postage costs that do not use dropshippers.
