BlackTangerine.co.uk Nominated for Global E-Commerce Excellence Award

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 14, 2009 – LONDON – September 14 - Out of the thousands of websites produced each year by WSI (We Simplify the Internet), the Black Tangerine website has been nominated for the global WSI E-Commerce Excellence Award, according to Rashida Kapadia, handbag designer and owner of the online fashion boutique.

“I chose WSI’s UK office to develop my current website after speaking with them and seeing other sites that they had built,” said Kapadia. “I’ve been with them just over a year and have been very pleased with their responsiveness to our needs in making our site truly customer friendly and easy to use,” Kapadia added.

The annual WSI Web Awards Gala Dinner will take place at the Portofino Bay Hotel in Orlando, FL on 29 September 2009. The awards recognize excellence in design, product demonstration, language and industry representation on the web.

According to Chris Schofield, Managing Director of WSI’s UK solution centre, Black Tangerine was nominated for the global WSI awards for E-Commerce Excellence. To be considered for the award the site had to be a product or service focused website, designed by using an E-Commerce solution, which clearly and effectively demonstrates the company's offerings or purpose. “Our office has finalists in four different categories, so we are very pleased,” he said.

WSI has been established in the UK for more than 6 years with offices in Oxfordshire. From their headquarters in Toronto, Canada, WSI provides global Internet solutions from more than 1500 local offices in 87 countries. WSI’s network of certified Internet Consultants is the largest of its kind and is ranked the No.1 Internet Services Business in the world by industry-leading Entrepreneur magazine.
