PR Log (Press Release) –
Feb 07, 2010 – From the founding of a local church to service with the town council, Tracy’s home and heart reside in this small Texas town. Tracy lost her job in December of 2008 leaving her on the hunt for a replacement income. With a small son at home she decided, as many mothers do, to seek an at‐home alternative. Her friend introduced her to the Stella & Dot line – Tracy was quickly hooked after visiting their website.
Stella & Dot is a company inspired by and created for strong women. The company was named after the founder's beloved grandmothers. Stella & Dot honors that generation of women who crossed oceans, rolled up their sleeves, won the vote, raised kids, went off to work, and still found time to bake. They did it with grace and style. Today, this is how they'd do it. If you think you know direct sales, you don't know Stella & Dot. It's never been done like this before. They have created a savvy business model that's asnow as their jewelry. Talk about trend‐setting.
Stella & Dot has been seen in such publications as In Style, Women’s Day, Lucky, The New York Times, Us, Modern Bride, Good Morning Texas, Fox Business, People and Redbook. The jewelry has been worn by numerous celebrities including Paris Hilton, Debra Messing and Penelope Cruz.
Tracy has joined the online community of Mommy Perks, making a splash with their members, readers and even the owner (who purchased a necklace for Christmas after viewing the stunning line).
Tracy shares:
“While there are over 4500 Stylists in the US and Canada, we are still growing and haven't reached all areas. San Angelo is where I call home, and I still know many people there. I think it is a wonderful market that great businesses often overlook to put their trust in the wonderful, friendly and fun community of San Angelo that I knew my entire life. Stella & Dot would make a smashing debut and a wow statement with its one‐of‐a‐kind and "Oh! I haven't heard of them!" presence. My passion for our pieces are equal to my passion and love for my hometown.”
