New Art and Custom Framing Showroom Unique to Scottsdale's Art Scene

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 12, 2009 – Art Source for Design, a comprehensive fine art and custom framing source, announced today that effective immediately it will be open to the public on a daily basis, as well as to the interior design trade. Previously open to the trade only, ASFD  recently moved to the new North Scottsdale location to accomodate its new unique focus.  Now offering three distinct art spaces under one roof:  a large contemporary fine art gallery space featuring accomplished local, regional and national artists exhibiting original art work and commisioned-to-order-custom work; an open-to-the-public art warehouse, with hundreds of framed art prints and framed mirrors; and a wholesale-to-the-public custom framing studio--all in a single  11,000 square foot facility in the flourishing Greenway-Hayden Loop corridor. Design professionals and the general public alike will now have access to thousands of pieces of artwork in a variety of styles and budgets, as well as hundreds of custom frame moulding styles, including many eco-consious options.
"We realized the unique value of having three distinct art spaces under one roof," said Bob Bagnato, president of Art Source for Design. "and the entire community should have access to the unmatched art buying and custom framing experience we offer through those spaces."  Bagnato reiterated that members of the design trade "will continue to receive their substantial industry discounts and the superior customer service they have come to expect."
Perfect for these economic times, ASFD also announced it would conduct a Designer Art Clearance Sale for the public every Saturday.  Held in the warehouse area,

the sale features hundreds of pieces of artwork including those that have been returned due to retail store closings, store merchandise returns,overstocks, etc. some selling for as much as 80% off.  Some items are slightly imperfect, but most are straight from the shelves and in perfect condition.  
Art Source for Design also plans a series of artist receptions and openings. The first will be a "Break Out Artist Showcase" held on Saturday, September 12th, featuring

35-40 recent works by some of Scottsdale's most popular up-and-coming as well as established contemporary painters. Represented artists include Adam Hand, Joel

Holsinger, Marian Crane and Marlene Burns.
In addition to showcasing compelling artwork and framing, Art Source Design is taking an active role in the community, sponsoring fundraising art auctions for local

non-profit organizations, including a fundraising auction for LifeUnfolded on August 15, 2009 and another fundraising art auction to benefit American Diabetes

Association on August 29, 2009.  Non-profit organizations around the Valley are encouraged to contact ASFD to inquire about organizing a fundraising art auction

event.
